The Statement (2/2013)

Date- 26 March 2013

1. The public living peacefully have felt sorrow at currently happening riots.

2. Such riots are not considered as conflicts between Buddhists and Muslims.

3. Sanghas, Buddhists, Christians and Hindus, who aided victims without racial and religious bias, are deeply thanked.

4. The whole process is just the action of a terrorist group who wants to make the peaceful and tranquil situation of the nation unrest by their well-plotted jeopardizing under the name of religion.

5. It is analyzed that loss of Muslims’ lives and properties, mosques and religious schools in this way are due to weakness and omission of administrative authorities to provide protection and take action effectively.

6. It is asked to take action promptly and efficiently to offenders and main organizers who are backing them in accordance with prescribed laws and criminal acts.
