Buddhist Thugs Attacked Muslims in Bago

A group of Buddhist rioters destroyed a Mosque, Muslim houses and shops in Oaak Tha Kone Town of Bago Division at mid-night on March 24.
A night before that, thugs threw the mosque with stones, damaging windows. The thug also attacked destroyed teashops, convenient shops, five Muslim houses and one Muslim-owned Bakery.
Polices were incapable of handling the attack, but the situation got calm down when the Military unit arrived.
Oaak Tha Kone is a small town situated in Bago Division and it is only 5 miles away from Min Hla town. It takes only 10 minutes by train.
As the attack took place in Oaak Tha Kone, similar riot happened in Yay Kyaw village, where the thug destroyed an Islamic religious school.
