Members of Myanmar Armed forces donate their wages for counter-covid measures

High ranking officers in Myanmar Armed Forces including Commander-in-Chief senior general Min Aung Hlaing have donated 25 percent of their monthly salary to use in Covid-19 prevention, control and treatment measures.

Low ranking officers have also participated in the donation with their one day wage.

The donation amount of 2.1 billion kyats from the members of Myanmar Armed Forces is second time. First donation worth of 2.3 billion kyats for Covid-19 prevention was made in April.
